If you recall, what influenced your decision to become a member of the International Atlantic Economic Society?

As I recall, the factors in my decision to become a member of the IAES include the research info in my interest areas, research connections to others, and publishing my papers.

What types of projects/research are you currently working on and what inspired/motivated you to pursue these interests?

My recent research mainly focuses on global manufacturing growth: demand growth vs market share gains, deindustrialization patterns and processes in industrial countries.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering entering your line of work/field of study?

My objective is to learn more, seek more, and do more in order to be more and to have a plentiful life. Then I will apply this knowledge and experience to the practical and real world.

Going forward, what other projects/research are you planning or hoping to pursue?

After retirement, my research has slowed down and is limited to a more specific scope. My current research on manufacturing growth and deindustrialization will be continuing at least for a while, focusing on case studies in individual countries.

What’s your favorite hobby?
