IAER will consider manuscripts directly submitted. However, special attention will be given to authors who have presented papers at the IAES conferences and have incorporated comments received at the meetings into a final version of their manuscript for submission to the reviewers of IAER. The IAES views one of the major functions of this publication to be a medium for encouraging the development of conference papers into publishable manuscripts. Papers presented at both the North American and European IAES conferences are automatically eligible for review, subject to adherence to the "Manuscript Style Instructions."
Submission fees are waived for papers resulting from conference presentations if submitted within six weeks after completion of the conference. Submissions after that date, and all nonconference manuscripts, will be charged a $80.00 submission fee for members and $130.00 for nonmembers. Upon acceptance, there is a publication fee of $20.00 per manuscript page for IAES members and $30.00 per manuscript page for nonmembers. A list of any other requirements and fees can be found in the November issue of IAER or may be obtained upon request from the Editor-in-Chief.
Indexing
IAER is currently indexed in the New Journals section of the Journal of Economic Literature. IAER can also be found in the Seventh Edition of Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Accounting, Economics and Finance, Current Contents of Recent Economic Journals, EBSCO Information Services, Information Access Company, and Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory. IAER is currently under review to be indexed in EconLit, the electronic online and CD-ROM abstracting service of the JEL and University Microfilms Inc.
