NEW IAER PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

TO REGISTER

• Go to https://www.editorialmanager.com/iaer/
• Select “REGISTER” on the main navigation menu at the top of the screen
• You are now on the Pre-Registration Page. Enter your name and e-mail address and click Continue.
• You are now on the Registration Page. Enter your personal information to begin the process. Note that information fields marked with a red asterisk (*) cannot be left empty.
• At the bottom of the Registration Page “Enter your preferred username.” You must remember your username each time you access the system. Click “Continue.”
• Upon successful registration you will be sent an e-mail with instructions to verify your registration.
• When you have received an e-mail from us with an assigned user ID and password, DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN. Just log into the system as “Author.”

NEW AUTHORS : Click the “Login” button from the menu and log into the system as “Author.” Then submit your manuscript by following the directions on the screen. A wide range of submission file formats is supported, including: Word, Word Perfect, RTF, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, Excel, and PowerPoint. PDF is not an acceptable file format.

• Attach your manuscript only ONCE. After attaching the manuscript, click on “Build PDF for My Approval.” Click on “Submissions Waiting for Author’s Approval.” It will take 3-5 minutes for the PDF version of the paper to be built. Then click on “View Submission” and then on “Approve Submission.” You will be sent an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your manuscript.

RETURNING AUTHORS : Enter your username and password and log in as “Author” to track your manuscript or to submit a NEW manuscript. Do NOT register again as you will then be unable to track your manuscript.

 TO CHANGE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD : Log into the system and select “Update My Information” from the menu. This will bring you to the user registration form you filled out earlier. In the field next to “Password:” is your current password. You can overwrite this with a new password. Click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the form.

FORGET YOUR PASSWORD? If you forget your password, click the “Login” button and click “Send Username/Password.” Enter your E-mail Address, and click the “Send Username and Password” button. If there is an e-mail match in the system, an e-mail containing your Username and Password will be sent to you shortly.
