INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

Authors

1. A copy of your paper must be received by all session members prior to 15 SEPTEMBER. The session chair and the discussant can request that your paper be removed from the program if they do not receive it.
2. Authors have 15 minutes to present their paper.
3. Bring 5-10 additional copies of your paper to the session for colleagues.
4. Each meeting room will have an overhead projector. Any other audio-visual equipment must be rented at your expense. Contact the IAES offices for rental prices by 15 SEPTEMBER. No requests will be taken after that date.
5. It is recommended that you outline your paper on overheads. It helps participants whose first language is not English to follow the presentation.

Discussants

1. Discussants have 3-5 minutes to comment on each of the session papers. Primary assignments are in the order listed in the program but may be changed by mutual agreement with the chair.
2. If you have not received a copy of the paper by 15 SEPTEMBER, directly contact the author. With agreement from the chair, you may have a late paper deleted or not discuss it because it was late.

1. Each session chair is responsible for seeing that authors and discussants stay within their time limit. Since each session is only two hours long, starting and ending times must be strictly adhered to.
2. If you fail to receive a paper by 15 SEPTEMBER, contact the author immediately. You may contact the IAES offices to have a late paper deleted.
3. If time permits, the chair will lead a round-table discussion with the authors.
