1. Reims and the Champagne Region-- Tuesday, March 12,
08h30-18h00
Enjoy a full day exploring the champagne cellars in France. View the picturesque
countryside of France as you travel through the Valley of Marne, battlefield
of the 1914/18 war, to arrive in Reims, the capital city of Champagne. Visit
the interior of the 12th century Gothic Cathedral where the Kings of France
were crowned over a period of 600 years. You'll visit three of the most famous
champagne makers with a tour of three cellars. See the traditional manner of
champagne making, unchanged for generations, and the various stages of production
of this famous wine. Tantalize your tastebuds as you sip champagne from the
cellars of Taittinger, Mumm, and the House of Pommery.
Lunch not included. Make Event Reservations.
2. Exploring Historical Paris-- Wednesday, March 13,
14h00-17h00
Experience the most intriguing sites of Paris, both old and new. From the gothic
splendor of the thirteenth-century's Cathedral of Notre-Dame to the exquisite
modernism of I. M. Pei's famous glass pyramids outside the Louvre Museum, Paris
is blooming with activity. Enjoy the timeless charm of the Champs-Élysées, the
grandest of all the world's avenues! View the solemn prestige of the Arc de
Triomphe, a touching tribute to France's long history of military victories.
Bask in the unforgettable grandeur of the Eiffel Tower—Paris's most recognized
and beloved symbol. Just across the River Seine at the Place de la Concorde,
take in a panoramic view of the city's architectural masterpieces—its museums,
